This garment is made from at least 60% certified recycled polyester. Recycled polyester is an artificial fiber made from oil-based waste such as old PET bottles. It is a more sustainable option compared to conventional polyester; as we can reuse a material that has already been produced. Using recycled polyester also reduces plastic waste and stops it from ending up in landfills. We only use raw materials with a verified chain of custody to ensure the use of certified recycled polyester.

This garment is made partly with certified material. LENZING ECOVERO is a viscose fiber derived from natural raw wood material and sourced from responsibly managed forests. Through cooperation with external organizations to ensure respectful treatment of virgin and endangered forests; the origin of the wood is carefully controlled. The manufacturing of LENZING ECOVERO branded viscose fibers generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg MSI tools; CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average. LENZING and ECOVERO are trademarks of Lenzing AG.
